The Splash Aquatic Lift is a semi-portable lifting system designed for swimming facilities
seeking to provide user friendly access to their swimming pools. The Splash is battery powered and operated by a screw driven actuator. It features full mechanised left & right as well as up & down motion. The design and durability of the system ensures consistent operation and minimises service problems.
The Splash is virtually maintenance free. The components are made from corrosion
resistant materials, including powder-coated aluminium arm rests, powder-coated stainless
steel base, mast, and seat frame. The unique seat of the lift was specifically designed to
provide the user with the greatest possible safety, comfort and ease of transfer.
control is completely waterproof, and allows either the user or the attendant to control its
operation with ease. The control box and battery are water resistant and should be protected
from long exposure to the water. A small, waterproof cover is included with each lift to cover
the control box when the system is in use. If the lift is used outdoors, an optional full cover is
available for purchase and is recommended to use to protect the system.
The seating system used is the
product of years research. This is the first such system that is designed
specifically for disabled swimmers.
The seat itself is both deeper and higher to both provide a more stable platform
for sitting, as well as being able to better accommodate swimmers with reduced
trunk stability. The seat has been flattened considerably to eliminate any ridge
that would hamper transferring. The sections of the seat have attachment points
for both the standard seat belt assembly as well as our optional stability vest.
The standard, moulded plastic footrest is removable and will float upwards to
prevent damage if the user lowers the chair too low over the deck.
The included armrests have been strengthened
which allows them to be used for support when transferring onto the seat.
They can be rotated out of the way during a transfer and can now be added to a
seat after the fact, without the need to purchase an entire new seat assembly
Pricing includes the Splash! Lift,
Deck Anchor, Footrest, Caddie, Arm Rests, Battery Charger, Battery Cover and Seat Belt Assembly.
The client accesses the lift seat then using the left and right buttons on the hand controller rotates the lift over the pool then using the up or down button to raise or lower the seat. The client can then be floated off the seat. Getting out is just as simple.
The typical installation usually is attached to the pool deck using a square deck anchor that will be cored into the pool deck.
Spine Board Attachment
The Spine Board Attachment works with any standard spine board (not included). Simply remove the chair assembly by pulling the attachment pin and replace that assembly with the Spine Board Attachment. One person can easily extract an injured swimmer from a pool.
Use the cover to protect your investment when not in use.
Five point restraint for individuals who need higher degree of stability
than provided with standard seat belt.
White, waterproof seat pad designed to enhance comfort and minimise potential skin damage that could occur during transfer is available as an optional accessory.
